This restored ‘Chaumière,’ a house with thatched roof (dated 1782) lies at about 1 km distance from La Madeleine (municipality of Guérande) and only 10 km from the fashionable bathing resort ‘La Baule.’ This bathing resort which is sheltered by pine tree forests and dunes is located at the edge of Southern Brittany and is one of the most attractive and well-known seaside resorts on the Atlantic coast.
