Setting
This ancient wine house has been restored into a land house and is situated exactly in the middle between Toulouse and Bordeaux, in the south. The department called GERS was once part of CASGOGNE, which is also called the “Toscana” of France. In the middle of a park of ½ ha it offers a unique panorama. It is surrounded by vintages, sunflower, fishing lake, river, fields and from 5 km of the village Castelnau d' Auzan.

Activities in the surroundings
The Southern Pyrenees (called les Pyrénées du Midi) are composed of the departments Lot, Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne, Gers, Haute-Garonne, Hautes-Pyrenees and Ariege. Despite the large areas, they form a unity. Through all the areas passes the centuries old pilgrimage route to the Spanish Santiago de la Compostella. From the north, west and east the Southern Pyrenees were the last part of the pilgrimage route. You need absolutely to visit: Montréal du Gers with her roman excavations, Seviac, l’Abbye Flaran, Fourcès, Laressingle, Condom with a boat tour on the Baïse, Barbotan-les-Thermes with the wild lotuses and Toulouse with the largest Roman church in the world. The nature in the north of this department is characterised by the green hills such as the mountains in Aveyron or the Gorges du Tarn. In the southern part you will find the beginning of the Pyrenees. The landscape become more rough with waterfalls and huge rocks. The climate of the southern Pyrenees have all the best from each season. Meaning a lot of sun and warmth in the Summer and mild Winters with in average 9 degrees. In summary, this area is very convenient as a holiday destination at any time during the year. Some other large cities that are worth a visit are: Eauze, Condom and a little further away Agen, Auch and Mont de Marsan. Don’t forget to taste the delicious “cuisine gasconne” and of course the Armagnac from different wine farms.

Garden and swimming pool
The land house has a well maintained and flowery garden with amongst others a grass field, trees and around terraces with enough shadow. Besides a private, secured swimming pool is available (9,5 x 4,5m). There are sufficient garden furniture and a barbecue. On the domain you will find two lakes. The children have enough space to play and swings and a toboggan. Against payment, one can use the sauna.
