This characteristic gite is part of a grand mas and is situated on the country side between vintages and olive trees. This farm is at only 4 km from the charming village of Murviel Béziers in the department of Hérault. The entire farm is composed of 2 gites and the house of the owner. The gite is divided in such a way that your privacy will be respected.
Activities in the surroundings
This village is at 14 km from the city of Béziers. Béziers is situated in altitude and gives a view over the river Orb and the Canal du Midi. You can go and visit the prominent houses from the 17th century and the cathedral of Saint Nazaire. At 12 km is the city of Pézenas, in the centre of the vintages of the Languedoc. Besides at 47 km you can find the famous bathing resorts of Sète and Cap d’Agde. Sète is also named “small Venice of the Languedoc”. It is situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the Lake of Thau, separated of Le Cap d’Agde by 12 km of sand beaches. This authentic fishing harbour in the centre of the city offers you a magnificent view on the typical areas situated along the moat with colourful facades and the daily return of the fishing boats accompanied by seagulls.

Besides at your disposal is a large, secured swimming pool that you share with other inhabitants of the farm. At the swimming pool is a small pool for children. There is a sufficient number of garden furniture, a barbecue and enough space for the children to play.

Very friendly and welcoming house owner. Large and quiet area, far away from the village where children can fully play and for everyone who loves nature and the silence holds. The estate is guarded by dozens of peacocks. The buildings on the domain are being renovated but not our house. It's beautiful and functional, fully optioned with all comforts. We could not use the private terrace behind the house, because it is on the south side of the building so it was too hot. Amid the vineyards and olive trees is lovely here to stay. An ideal base for those who like silence.
