The city of Couiza
This independent, comfortable house is situated in the hills at 1 km from the small city of Couiza, at 12 km north from Quillan and 15 km south from Limoux. Couiza is situated in the Aude, land of the catharses, which is part of the department of Languedoc-Roussillon. From the house you have a wonderful view on the castle of Rennes le Château.

Activities in the surroundings
In the surroundings of Couiza you can discover castles from the times of Cathares, the medieval city of Carcassonne and follow the tracks of the mysterious Abbot Saunière, at Rennes le Chateau. You will be able to enjoy pleasant walks with the family: just follow the tracks and you will come along great sights of nature with for instance the lakes of Arques and Puivert. After each turning you will see another wonderful landscape. The banks of the Aude (600m from the house) will allow you to relax or you could go and play tennis on the courts of Couiza.

Garden and swimming pool
The house has a well maintained and fenced garden of 750 m2 with amongst others a grass field, different kind of trees, flowers and terraces that offer enough shadow. Besides at your disposal is a private, secured swimming pool (9,5 x4,5 m), enough garden furniture and a barbecue.
