The city of Sartène
This independent, comfortable house is located at an excellent spot at only 1 km from the Mediterranean Sea with its wonderful sand beaches. The house is situated South West from Corsica at 15 km of the typical Corsican city of Sartène. The latter is at 350m altitude on a large rock area of Monte Rosso. Despite the fact that Sartène is not that close to the sea, it can be seen from the coast. The centre of Sartène has one of the most beautiful places of Corsica: Place de la Libération. From here you have a magnificent view over the valley of Rizzanese. There are also a few attractive terraces.

Activities in the surroundings
At 30 km is situated the famous bathing resort of Porto Vecchio. This is the third city of the island and an important bathing resort. You will find wonderful bays with fine, white sand. The city is on a hill, surrounded by an old defence wall. In the country side you can find a few prehistorical places such as Alta Rocca and the Bavella Mountains where you can do great walks. In Tizzano you can visit a few places with impressive grave monuments. Further Belvedère de Foce is an attractive place to visit, 5 km east from Sartène. At about 9 km south east is the village of Mola, from where you have a beautiful view over the city of Sartène and the gulf of Valinco. Every year the Rally of Corsica takes place on the small roads in the Alta Rocca, in the country side.

Garden
The house has a nice, with many flowers garden of 700m2 with a partially covered terrace around the house. From the terrace you have a great view over the sea and the varied landscape of hills. The sand beach is at 1 km. There is a sufficient number of luxurious garden furniture and a barbecue.
