The city of St. Sernin de Duras
This 400 years old farm is situated at 1 km from the small village of St. Sernin de Duras, 5 km from the medieval city Duras with its shop, weekly market, cafés, restaurants and about 30 km south from the wine and tobacco city of Bergerac. You are situated just outside the department of Dordogne, in the Lot and Garonne. This entirely renovated farm is in a great area with nature, a beautiful view over they valley, the village and surrounding farms.

Activities in the surrounding
The department of Lot-et-Garonne is an area with a diversity of landscapes, from plains and hilly areas to ‘landes’ and parts where the chalk cliffs dominate the view. Thanks to the mild climate it is also the region with the largest orchards in Europe. Many rivers cross the department such as the Lot, Garonne, Baïse and the Canal des Deux Mers. If you like water, there are about 200 km of water roads. In this area there are many bastide (fortified cities), from the time that the English and French fought each other, wonderful castles. In this area the characteristic pigeon houses are famous (about 6000).

The land house is situated on a domain of 5000m2 with a beautiful view over the valley. The well maintained garden is next the unspoiled nature. The garden is composed of grass field, different kind of trees and 2 terraces. Besides at your disposal is a private, fenced (heated) swimming pool (4 X 10m). There is a sufficient number of garden furniture and a barbecue and enough space for the children to play.
