The historical bastille village of Damazan
This 18th century farmhouse is 3 km from the 13th century old village of Damazan. This characteristic village, like the farmhouse, is situated along the ‘Canal Latéral’. This house stands peacefully in between fields of flowers with a wonderful view over the great landscape and an old bridge that goes over the canal. Damazan is at 40 km from the larger city of Agen.

Activities in the surroundings
This area east of Bordeaux has always been an attractive destination for holidays with its beautiful nature, attractive climate and renowned cuisine. The alternating landscape is composed of fields of sunflowers and vegetables, hills and wonderful valleys. Here and there are picturesque villages, castles and charming villages and towns such as Pujols ( 40km), Agen ( 40km) and Penne ( 50km).The city of Bordeaux (100 km) has many old buildings and a museum which are certainly worth a visit. You should also hire a boat and make a canal tour along the small picturesque villages.

Garden and swimming pool
There are well-maintained grounds (2,5 hectare) with several grass lawns, flowering bushes, fruit trees and an attractive terrace (partially covered) for alfresco dining. Steps lead down from the terrace to a protected private swimming pool. There are plenty of chaises longes, small tables and barbeque area with a small dining table. There are both front and lower lawns, fenced enough space for the children to play and a swingset.
