Chateau Mondesir was built in the seventh century and is located at the edge of the villa Villefranche-de-Lonchat halfway between the well-known cities Bordeaux and Perigueux, 20 kms from the famous wine-growing town Saint-Emilion and just 2 kms from the recreational lake Gurson. This holiday house is an ideal departure point for many, interessant day trips. Your “Ferme de Mondesir” lies very quietly in the middle of a park-like, private estate of 36ha with 12ha of vineyards. The house on the owner´s estate has been built so that your privacy is ensured. For example you have separate entrance. In the beautifully layed-out garden there is a SWIMMING POOL (14x5) and a tennis court which you will be sharing with the owner and the tenants of the 2 “chambres d’hotes” and the house ref. 5032. You have a private patio with garden furniture. From the patio, you have a beautiful view of the hilly scenery with forests and fields. There is a large field in front of the house with a view of the wonderful nature.

The area is nice, the owners are friendly. You can eat very tasty dishes here. The area is quiet. Some rooms are a bit dated. The beds are good!
