The city of Sourzac
This entirely renovated, characteristic land house from the 17th century is at only 2 km from the picturesque village of Sourzac, 5 km from the small city of Mussidan and 30 km of the famous wine and tobacco city of Bergerac. Next to the land house is a guesthouse for a maximum of 5 people. The place is very convenient for several families and groups. The house is situated in the Perigord Pourpre (Purple) with as centre Bergerac. The area has been named after the skin of a current. It is very famous for its excellent wines that should in no way be called Bordeaux wines, even though the two areas are bordering each other. It is a very interesting wine area. The Romans are thought to be responsible for the construction of the many vineyards.

Activities in the surroundings
At 25 km is the city of Bergerac, also called the ‘mirror of the Dordogne’ because of the charming river, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful ones of Europe. At 35 km north of the house is the capital of the Dordogne: Périgueux. This is an attractive place with small shopping streets in the shadow and attractive terraces. A bit further, in the Périgord Noir you will find amongst others the city of Les Eyzies which is having one of the most famous prehistoric caves of Europe. If you like sports, this is a good place, you can do great walks, go cycling, canoeing or sailing.

Garden and swimming pool
The imposing house is situated on a large, well maintained, fenced domain with amongst others a large grass field, trees that create enough shadow and different terraces. Besides at your disposal is a beautiful, fenced and private swimming pool (12 x 6m) (it can be heated if paid for). Next to the swimming pool is the guesthouse. Moreover, on the domain is a tennis court, basketball net, table tennis, swings, badminton field, bicycles and a boat with a fishing-rod to go on the river. There is a sufficient number of garden furniture, barbecue and enough space for the children to play, who will not get bored during their holiday.
