You may expect the following services from the cook: the purchase of regional dishes and preparation of meals. The chambermaid cares for the the bedrooms and lays as wel as cleans the table. She will also do the dishes. The costs of this extra service can be required at Agence Belle France. The charges for gas, water and electricity are included in the rental price untill a certain amount.
This very characteristic country cottage lies at about 5 km distance from Saint-george-de-Montclar and only 12km from the attractive wine-growing and tabbacco cultivating city of Bergerac. The center of Saint-Georges-de-Monclard distinguishes itself by the fact that fromolden times only people who practiced the free trades were allowed to settle there; because of this you will find a castle surrounded by nothing but houses in this village. This country cottage is situated on a vast estate of 560 ha and is surrounded by a wonderful sloping landscape of forests, fields and 3 lakes where you can go fishing. The owner has 4 cottages on this estate, which are loacted at great distance from each other. In the enormous garden of this garden there's a century-old, characteristic pidgeon house (pidgeon tower),of which the first an second floor has been renovated and turned into external guestquarters for 2 persons with a bathroom and bedroom. The ground floor serves as a private museum for excavations in the area. In the garden there's also a large lwan with an enclosed SWIMMING POOL (14 by 6) with garden furniture, a seperate shower, toilette and a barbecue. This cottage alsohas over 20 bikes, several fishing rods, and a table tennis table available. The bikes can be rented.
