The village Lusignac
This beautiful, romantic farmhouse instantly warms you with its very personal charm. It was built around 1400 out of blocks of white chalk stone. The hamlet of La Roussie, part of Lusignac, is one of a chain of medieval villages in the Périgord with a famous church. La Roussie consists of a group of about 12 farms which used to produce walnut oil.
Activities in the surrounding
The region lies in the Regional Natural Park of the Périgord Vert, at 20 km from the picturesque town Brantôme. This town lies on the River le Dronne and is also called the Venice of the Perigord. To taste the charm of Brantôme, have a walk along the banks of the river, where the old houses reflect in the water. The region has an impressive history that goes back to the Ice Age. Traces of life of mammoths and reindeer are found in inscriptions and paintings in caves. The area is also rich in culture. Really anywhere you find castles, fortresses, monasteries and other historic buildings. You will find many tourist routes that lead you to various cultural attractions. Also there are many opportunities for hiking and biking in this beautiful nature.

The farmhouse is situated on a beautiful private domain of 3500 m2 with a breathtaking panoramic view over the hilly countryside and behind the medieval village. The sloping garden consists a large lawn where the children are well entertained. Also you will find a football – volleyball and badminton field. Also several pool toys are available. In front of the farmhouse you find an attractive terrace with a cozy dining area, barbecue and parasols. Besides at your disposal is a beautiful secured private pool (8 x 5m). Around the pool is a nice terrace with a pool house and sun beds.
