La Bénéchié is a lovely country house situated in the idyllic village of Hameau Bénéchié, located in the heart of the Dordogne. Located on the southside of a mountain, only 3km away from the River Dordogne and never more than 15-20 kms away from many of the region’s historic towns and beautiful sites such as Rocamodour (30 km), Sarlat (25 km) and Beynac (30km). This charming house is perfectly situated and equipped to provide a wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable vacation for the family, friends and couples alike throughout the year.
With a breathtaking view across the valley on one side, forests and grassy meadows on the other, La Bénéchié also has a heated swimming pool (9.5 x 5 m), lovely sun bathed terraces, a 4 hole golf course, 9 hole putting green, fully equipped badminton and volleyball pitches and lots of fun areas for the family including table-tennis, jeu de boules, sandbox (for small children) and barbecue facilities. The house is equipped with all the necessary equipment and amenities needed to make yours a memorable stay.
La Bénéchié also allows you to easily explore and enjoy the many charming, beautiful and relaxing sights and attractions of this historically rich region of the Perigord Noir. Whether its watersports including canoeing on the rivers Dordogne (3km) and Vézère (25 km), or horse back riding, golf (18 hole course only 5km), wine tasting or simply an urge to take in the truffles, foie gras, cheeses, prehistoric caves, market towns or the fairy tale castles, La Bénéchié provides something for everyone.

Traditional living area with wooden beams and open hearth fire furnished with 2 sofas, TV, DVD-player, video, hi-fi system, internet and large dining table with 8 chairs and leads nicely into the luxury kitchen fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer. The living area opens out onto a lovely terrace where one enjoys breakfast under the morning sun and the kitchen onto the sun bathed terraces equipped with barbecue facilities. There are 4 bedrooms , ground floor (double bed, en-suite), 1st floor (double bed, baby cot), 2nd floor, 1st bedroom (2 single beds) 2nd bedroom (2 double beds, en-suite). The ground floor also has a separate toilet and shower room on the ground floor. 3 Bathrooms, ground floor with a shower and toilet, 1st floor with a shower and toilet, 2nd floor with a bath and toilet.

Great location. In two weeks you can visit Sarlat, go to Padirac and La Cave abysses, visit Marquessac gardens at night, visit Castelnaud castle, go on a Dordogne river boating, do tree climbing with kids as well as learn about dynosaurs at Prehistoria park. Very nice fresh market in Souillac just facing the E.Leclerc supermarket.
