The city of Perigueux
This characteristic house of the 17the century is situated on a large domain of 13 ha, on the top of a hill, offering a fantastic view over the landscape. This typical Manoir is at 8 km from the capital of the Perigord: the animated city of Périgueux. This is an attractive city with small streets in the shadow where it is good to do some shopping and where attractive terraces can be found. Périgueux has many different and beautifully renovated historical districts. It is well known for its art, gastronomy and typical markets. All year long Périgueux offers many activities.

Activities in the surrounding
At 50 km is the city of Bergerac, also named the ‘mirror of the Dordogne’ because of the charming river, that is being considered one of the most beautiful rivers of Europe. Further there is the city of Les Eyzies at 50 km where you can find some of the most famous prehistoric caves of Europe. If you like sports, the surroundings certainly are a challenge: you can walk, cycle or do some canoe.

Garden and swimming pool
The land house has a well maintained garden of 13 ha that reminds one of a park. There is a beautiful lane with on both sides centuries old trees that lead to the land house. Depending on the season you will find mushrooms. Besides there are different fruit trees such as figs, plums, pears and apples. Between the walls of the land house is a large yard (700m2), which will remind you of the 17th century. Here you will find a large table for 12 people in the shadow of an enormous fig tree. On the domain is a tennis court (hard court) and at your disposal is a private and heated (26 degree) swimming pool (12 x 6m) a sufficient number of garden furniture, a Weber barbecue, enough space for the children to play and toys such as a tennis table, badminton field and baby foot.
