The city of Cahors
This recently build, independent and modern house is situated amongst beautiful hills at 5 km from the medieval city of Cahors, famous for its old and well known “Pont Valentré”, the oldest gothic bridge of Europe. The famous area of Cahors with its many wine castles along the river “Lot” are situated at a short distance of this house.

Activities in the surroundings
On the River Lot (3 km) that becomes larger at Cais/Luzech, you can do some canoeing, swimming, sailing and cycling on the water (you can hire it there). Medieval cities such as St. Cirq-Lapopie and Puy-L’Evèque, along the river Lot are at only half an hour driving. The famous city of Rocamadour is at 55 km. Besides you must visit the “Grottes du Pech Merle” at Caberets (30 km) where you can admire 1200m of prehistory.

Garden and swimming pool
The house is situated amongst the hills with a large, well maintained, partially fenced garden with view on the valley and with amongst others grass field, trees, terrace with view on the swimming pool. There are enough places in the shadow, under parasols. Further at your disposal is a heated, private pool (10 x 5m), a sufficient number of garden furniture, barbecue and a plastic pool of 145 cm, a place to play jeu de boules, darts, badminton rackets and enough space for the children to play.
